Dallas, TX is a city rich with history. Many events and well known neighborhoods are within this large metroplex and have changed with the times to modern day expectations and demand. Popular areas within the Dallas city include Highland Park (established in 1931 and commonly known as the “Beverly Hills” of Dallas), Oak Cliff (the most colorful gayborhood), and Deep Ellem (home to jazz and blues music that dominated the 1920s and 1930s). The areas mentioned will be covered in posts in our blog. Going through each one would be worthy information, but would make this entry way too long! Usually when a Dallas resident visits or leaves any suburb or surrounding city of Dallas, to make things easy, what would you want to say to people when they ask where you’re from? Dallas.

It’s no surprise that Dallas has grown in popularity, and none of the demand is waning anytime soon. With many job opportunities booming and there is more land to build, many people from around the world situate Dallas as a high demand city to live in. We love to call Dallas a “utility city”, meaning that although it does not receive the same tourist recognition like California or New York, it’s an ideal city to build your foundation in home ownership, build business, and live stably with opportunity for job and household growth. However, you cannot forget the world-renowned Texas State Fair that happens annually and is popular for everyone of all ages. On a national level, Dallas is overall an affordable city with many unique areas to consider residency. Although most people know of the famous Highland Park area, other cities with rising popularity and still attract potential residents would include big suburban areas like Carrollton, Plano, and Richardson, just to name a few.
